AT&T will debut a new national television advertisement this week for their 3G Network that will feature the Buffalo Bisons. The 30-second spot will air throughout the continental United States.

The advertisement tells the story of a fictional player named 'Carl Schaus' who has just been promoted to the Buffalo Bisons and is trying to race to the ballpark in time for his first road game. AT&T is using the advertisement to promote the "Nation's Fastest 3G Network" as well as a new 50% mail-in rebate for a new line of Samsung touchscreen cellular phones.

Schaus uses his AT&T phone to get faster directions for his taxi driver and then accesses Bisons.com to prove to a ticket taker he is part of the Buffalo Bisons team. His journey ends in the Bisons dugout as a fictional manager tells him he's leading off in the afternoon's game. Schaus then puts on a batting helmet and receives cheers from the crowd as he heads to the batter's box.

AT&T has been a sponsor of the Buffalo Bisons for over 10 years. This past season, the company had a presence in Coca-Cola Field with a sign on the left field screen as well as radio advertisements during all Bisons broadcasts.
